Stir ingredients until blended. Pancake steps: Makes 14 pancakes. 2. Pour slightly less than 1/4 cupfuls onto hot greased griddle. 3. Cook until edges are dry; about 1 minute 30 seconds. Turn; cook 1 minute 30 seconds or until golden. waffle steps: Makes 8 (4-inch) waffles. 2. Pour onto center of hot greased waffle maker; close lid. 3. Bake about 5 min or until steaming stops. Carefully remove waffle. For thinner pancakes, increase milk to 1-1/3 cups. High Altitude (3500-6500 ft): No change. About 8-1/2 dozen sausage-cheese balls. Strawberry Shortcakes: 4 cups sliced fresh strawberries. 1/4 cup sugar. 2-1/3 cups Original Bisquick Baking Mix. 2/3 cup milk. 3 tablespoons sugar. 3 Tablespoons butter or margarine, melted. 1/2 Cup whipping cream 1. Heat oven to 425 degrees F. In large bowl, mix strawberries and 1/4 cup sugar; set aside. 2. In medium bowl, stir Original Bisquick Baking Mix, milk, 3 tablespoons sugar and the butter until soft dough forms. On ungreased cookie sheet, drop dough by 6 spoonfuls. 3. Bake 16 to 17 minutes or until golden brown. Meanwhile, in small bowl, beat whipping cream with electric mixer on high speed until soft peaks form. 4. Split warm shortcakes; fill and top with strawberries and whipped cream. 6 Servings. To Measure Bisquick Mix: Spoon into dry-ingredient measuring cup; level with knife. To open lift this tab.
