Cooking Directions on the Stove: 1. In saucepan, bring water to a boil (Cooking Measurement Chart: For drier rice, use 1/4 cup less water. For moister rice, use 1/4 cup more water. Rice: 1 cup; Water: 2-1/2 cups; Yield: 3-1/2 cups. Servings (3/4 Cup Cooked): 5. Rice: 2 cups; Water: 5 cups; Yield: 7 cups. Servings (3/4 Cup Cooked): 9. Rice: 3 cups; Water: 7-1/2 cups; Yield: 10-1/2 cups. Servings (3/4 Cup Cooked): 14). 2. Stir in rice (Add 1 Tbsp butter and 1 tsp salt per cup of uncooked rice, if desired). 3. Cover. Reduce heat and simmer for 45 minutes or until all water is absorbed. Cooking Directions in the Microwave (It is recommended that only 1 cup rice be prepared in the microwave at a time. Microwave ovens vary. Cooking times are approximate): 1.
